I’m a qualified General Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse, Midwife, and Community Nurse, with over 30 years of experience in healthcare. For the past 6 years, I’ve been proud to be part of Caring Homes, currently serving as a Regional Manager, supporting compassionate and skilled care teams across Norfolk, Suffolk, Oxfordshire, and the Isle of Man.
The last few years, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, have highlighted the incredible dedication of those working in social care. From nurses and carers to housekeeping, catering, laundry, and maintenance teams, our staff went above and beyond in what has been one of the most demanding periods in our professional lives. Their resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment to our residents were nothing short of inspirational.
Every day, I continue to be humbled by the compassion, strength, and tenacity shown by our teams. They stood on the front lines, prioritising the well-being of our residents even as they faced risks themselves. Their efforts embody the true spirit of care.
I’ve also had the privilege of taking part in international nurse and carer recruitment initiatives, traveling to St Lucia and South Africa to welcome outstanding professionals into our homes—further enriching the strength and diversity of our teams.
At Caring Homes, our culture is truly supportive. From executive leadership to remote support staff, everyone is committed to creating an environment where you’re never alone, and guidance is always available.
If you’re passionate about making a difference in elderly care, value teamwork, and enjoy finding joy and purpose in your work, Caring Homes is the place for you. Come and be a part of our family.
