The roles
Care home administrator
As an Administrator at Caring Homes, whether you’re updating records, helping with finance spreadsheets, or supporting the team with rotas and reports, your work helps everything tick along. Reliable, and detail-focused, you’re a team player and a calm approach is key.
Your responsibilities:
- Keeping resident records, reports, and files organised and up to date
- Supporting with payroll processes, recruitment admin, and care home compliance tasks
- Handling queries from families, residents, and professionals, always friendly and helpful
- Making sure our admin run like clockwork
Care home receptionist
As a Receptionist, you’re the face of the home, the first hello and the last goodbye. You’ll welcome visitors, answer calls, and help with light admin tasks, all while keeping a calm and professional manner. No two days are quite the same!
Your responsibilities:
- Giving a warm welcome to every visitor and guiding them through sign-in
- Answering calls and passing on messages with a friendly, efficient approach
- Helping out the admin team with day-to-day tasks
- Making the front desk a hub of calm, order, and kindness
What you’ll bring to the roles:
- Previous admin experience (bonus points if it's in healthcare or social care)
- Strong communication and people skills
- A head for organisation and a love of spreadsheets
- Confidence using digital tools, documents, and systems
- Discretion, accuracy, and care with sensitive information
