  • 62 Bedded Nursing Care Home
  • 48 Hours per week: including alternative weekends

Responsibilities

  • Administer medication and assist with clinical tasks under supervision
  • Support the care planning process and liaise with external professionals
  • Lead shifts and provide guidance to care assistants
  • Promote person-centred care while maintaining residents’ dignity and independence
  • Champion our values and help create a warm, respectful environment for residents and team members alike

About the Role

As a CHAP, you’ll support the delivery of clinical care, acting as a link between our care assistants and nursing team. You’ll be trusted to manage tasks such as administering medication, leading shifts, and supporting care planning – always with residents’ dignity and wellbeing at heart.

Ideal candidate

  • A caring, confident, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in care with willingness to progress
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) preferred
  • Medication administration training desirable
