Celebrating two decades of great care and support

Founded in 1994 by mother and son team Helena and Paul Jeffery, Caring Homes Group has grown to become one of the most highly respected independent care and support providers in the United Kingdom.  At the time, Helena was a registered nurse who wanted to apply her passion for great care to care homes.  With Helen’s vision and Paul’s financial acumen they purchased Bradbury House, the very first of our Caring Homes (and still a very active member of our family).  Helena and Paul’s vision has always been about combining sound business practice with strong family values.  That principle holds as true today as it did 20 years ago.

Caring Homes, provides care and support for older people. We provide care and support for thousands of people across the UK and our dedicated team is integral in providing the high quality service we offer.  Over the next few years we will continue to grow, with several exciting new Homes scheduled to open in 2020 and beyond.

We are unique.  Unlike many care providers we remain family-run.  We are not beholden to shareholders and we benefit from decades of experience – in fact our Chief Executive, Paul Jeffery, is the longest serving in the sector. Our Clinical Services Team Maintaining the highest professional standards is absolutely vital to us.  We don’t just rely on the national regulators to ensure we’re doing a good job – we have a dedicated and fully independent Clinical Services Team, who carry out their own inspections and audits, to ensure that each Home is meeting our high standards.

A Partnership Approach We work closely with other professional bodies and organisations to share best practice and to make sure we are always at the forefront of high quality care and support.  We are members of Care England, which represents care and support providers of all sizes, we also work with City & Guilds to develop independently audited and verified learning and development programmes, and we have partnerships with several leading universities to ensure we continue to work with and learn from the very best.
