We are seeking an innovative and passionate Talent Development Manager to lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of our learning and development initiatives. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our teams have access to inclusive, engaging, and relevant learning opportunities to drive personal and organisational growth. Reporting into the Head of People, this is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our talent development strategy and make a lasting impact on our team's success and career progression.

You will be passionate about helping others thrive and perform at their best. You will be key in designing and delivering in-house learning initiatives (face-to-face and eLearning) for all roles within our homes and support office. You will role model our values and leadership qualities and drive organisational effectiveness through all learning and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, workshops, and development initiatives that enhance skills, leadership capabilities, and career development for employees at all levels.
  • Support in the creation of our tailored career pathway.
  • Ensure that learning opportunities are inclusive and accessible to all employees,
  • Manage the learning and development team and all aspects of training with a key focus on delivering high-quality training to all new and existing employees.
  • Support managers in the development of their team members
  • Embrace different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching.
  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party training providers.
  • Create training materials and programmes to address specific business objectives as required and support training delivery.
  • Keep up to date on the latest training trends, developments and best practices.
  • Identify and implement a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and engagement.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Creative thinker who can identify training gaps and offer innovative solutions.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in learning and development, talent management or training with a strong focus on designing and delivering training programs.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge of creating SCORM-compliant files to ensure training modules are compatible with our Learning Management Systems (LMS) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of multimedia integration on how to incorporate videos, infographics, quizzes, and interactive elements into training programs.
  • Ability to lead and inspire others, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • A driving license is required to facilitate and support training across our 21 homes.
  • Experience in the care or healthcare sector is an advantage
