East Hill Dementia Festival
This year, staff at East Hill House held a dementia festival on Friday 8 April 2022, was from 10am-4pm at Petersfield Festival Hall. It was organised as a drop-in event, with many organisations that provide support and advice to people with dementia and their families on hand to give information.
Charlene the home manager of East Hill House in Liss, was a key player of the festival and worked behind the scenes to help organise and ensure the day was a success alongside Jeff Williams and East Hampshire District council.
The purpose of the day was to inform people who have received a diagnosis of dementia and those who care for them, so they could find out more about the help and activities available to them by visiting the East Hampshire Dementia Festival.
The Event was opened by Damian Hinds MP for East Hampshire, along with a visit and a personal thank you from the Chairman of East Hampshire Council.
