Whether you are looking to take your first steps towards a career in care and support, or are a qualified nurse or seasoned professional seeking to achieve your potential, we will provide learning and development opportunities that will help you achieve your career goals.

No matter what the role, we can provide you with learning and development support from day one.  Everyone who joins Caring Homes Group receives a comprehensive induction pack and schedule, which helps guide you through the early stages of your employment with us.  A Buddy Scheme and clinical/support mentoring enables new colleagues to flourish.

Everyone who joins us will share our values. That way we can be sure every colleague is focused on providing high quality care, opportunities, choice and success for all those we support and each other.

We recruit with attitude and personality in mind, it doesn’t matter if at first you don’t have all the right skills. Our ethos is to coach, develop and grow our people, ensuring you can reach your potential.

Throughout your career with us, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through our bespoke learning and development programmes, which include national, local and regional-level learning and development, in many cases providing you with nationally recognised qualifications.

We invest heavily in learning and development, we’re quick to recognise and nurture talent. You could be studying for a range of exciting qualifications and we even offer apprenticeships.

We have been recognised nationally for our commitment to training and skills development by HRH The Princess Royal. The Princess Royal Training Awards in their inaugural year reviewed our ‘My World’ Dementia training programme. This is City & Guilds accredited and provides a three stage practical approach to communication and building relationships, using ‘Person Centred’ approaches with meaningful activities, through to full training on day-to-day support in the advanced stages of the condition.

We also offer world renowned Conflict Management and Physical Intervention training, using Maybo training principles for Consensus colleagues working with people living with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

We value your talents and if you have career goals, we will give you every opportunity and support. With a multitude of courses and programmes on offer at every level of the organisation we will enable you to move up the career ladder. With many colleagues completing our Future Leaders Programme, Leadership development courses and undertaking extended learning opportunities such as our ILM accredited coaching course you won’t be limited by the variety and diversity in development opportunities helping you to reach your goals.
